The first Oversea was started in 1977 in Kuala Lumpur and then in 1982 in Ipoh, the capital of the state of Perak. Head chef WONG Pak Lam has been with Oversea for the last 31 years. Their most famous dish is the BBQ Pork or Char Siew. Unlike Hong Kong versions, no colouring is used. It is not skeletal, skinny, lean or mean. The Oversea signature dish has enough fat to cut through the meat.
