Barshu
Sichuan cuisine is addictive. If you live in London, you might like to know that Barshu is open every, and throughout, the day. The chef and the rest of the kitchen all hail from Sichuan, the home of China’s most assertive cuisine. The best writer on Chinese cuisine in the English language, Fuchsia Dunlop, was a consultant to Barshu. Dunlop was the first Westerner to train as a chef in Chengdu in the late 1990s. She possesses a sensitivity to the nuances and layers of Chinese cuisine rarely encountered.

Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine
Imperial Treasure London is near the Haymarket Theatre, 67 Pall Mall, and Berry Bros & Rudd. The restaurant is in a heritage building where the original interior and exterior of the building cannot be altered. The Queen is landlord. The cuisine is Cantonese but also with a nod to the British favourite, namely Peking Duck. Maipo Doufu is also available. Before and after dinner drinks being so important to the British clientele, the bar at Imperial Treasure London has a place of prominence.
