Having joined Flower Drum back in 1981 at a previous location, Anthony LUI was later promoted to executive chef – a position he still holds today. In 2003, founder Gilbert LAU sold the restaurant to three of his employees including Lui. As one of the proprietors of Flower Drum in which he was once employed, Lui bonds very closely with his employees. Flower Drum brings a level of elegance and finesse to Cantonese cuisine in Australia that will be the envy of any top restaurant in Shunde, Guangzhou or Hong Kong.
